An Ambititious Journey!!!

Got tired of all the investment gurus saying that a regular person like me can not be a good investor. They can not consistently produce good results.

Really!!!

So I decided to put my money where my mouth is. The goals for this blog are very simple.
  1. Put $100,000 in a separate account
  2. Invest in publicly traded things (stocks, bonds, options and so on)
  3. Grow this to a cool million. And do it faster than Investment Gurus
This is not meant to be an investment advise. Don't buy, sell, trade anything because I did it. You will be doing it at your own risk.

I don't know how, what etc. But will figure it out as time goes on. Please join me in this journey. Let the fun begin :)

I think you will do just fine as long as you are confident in your trades and you have your facts right. I'm adding your blog to my site because I think we have a bit in common being ordinary guys working on making our first million through the stock market. Good luck. cheers- paul

Very cool thing to keep an eye on. I'll share something a very astute investor once told me when I began to accumulate assets and was becoming impatient, "Don't worry about the 'glass ceiling,' watch out for the trap door!"

Best of luck.

Two strategies:

1. Trailing stop-loss

2. Selling covered calls

These reduce risk (but also gain)
